Hi Everyone,

Every time you add a Source> Right click and Add>Choose Display Capture>Pick your Display e.g. LG U12345 1920X1080

And… then all you see is darkness my old friend.

Darkness my old friend.

Fear not. You don’t have to quit being a VLogger right now. It’s a small and easy fix.

The problem is if you have a fancy graphics card like NVIDAs, OBS is having a hard time finding the system display information.

Run a search in your Windows PC for >Graphics Settings>

If you can’t see OBS, click “add” and then add OBS in the Graphics Settings.

You should see this now

Now click on “options” in the OBS Studio settings box, and then choose Power Saving.

Restart OBS.

BAM!

Now it should be showing normally on your OBS Screen when you have the Display Capture going it won’t be pitch black but instead reflect the screen display content.

The End.

Cyvillian.
